CLICK IMAGE TO ENLARGE. “F. Fullegar,” [Fullagar], Parramatta. Note, the initial “F” may be incorrect. Considering the era in which these images were taken, the prominent male Fullagars of Parramatta at the time were William Fullagar, the son of convicts, was a butcher, publican, and stock agent who ended up one of the major landholders in Parramatta. Another possibility is William’s son H. W. C. Fullagar. Another son who actually had the initial “F,” namely “Francis Latham Fullagar,” died aged only 23 in 1881, so this is unlikely to be Francis. Henry William Burgin – studio portraits of Parramatta residents, ca. 1860-1872.
