Mary Ann Smith

MARY ANN SMITH was a convict woman who was tried and convicted at Northumberland (Town of Newcastle upon Tyne) Quarter Sessions on 11 July 1821 and sentenced to seven years transportation per Mary Anne I (2) (1822). In the colony she was repeatedly incarcerated at the Parramatta Female Factory.
